On Stage

New member auditions are held twice a year, just before the start of each production.

Once you have joined the society, you will have the opportunity to audition for our shows.

If you are cast in a show, you will be expected to give your full commitment to rehearsals. We usually rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.30pm-10pm, with some Sunday daytime rehearsals, and occasional additional nights in the run up to a show.

To register interest for our next round of auditions, please

Off Stage

If performing isn't your thing, we have plenty of opportunities behind the scenes, including making costumes and props, building scenery, working back stage at performacnes, and running the organisational side of the society.

If you are interested in helping out in any way, please get in touch!

How Much Does It Cost?

All members pay an annual membership fee which covers the basic running costs of the society, including storage space, audit fees and insurance. This is currently £80 for performing members, £48 for production members and £25 for associate members. Students pay half of the relevant fee.

Additionally, all cast members pay a show fee, which goes towards rehearsal material, costumes and professional fees for directors etc. Show fees depend on the scale of the show, but are usually between £25-£75. Cast members may also be asked to provide elements of their own costumes, including shoes and basic clothing items.
